ENSURE HEALTHY LIVES AND PROMOTE WELL-BEING
FOR ALL AT ALL AGES
SDGs(Sustainable Development Goals) are goals of humanity set by the United Nations to be achieved by 2030.
SDGs are the shared blueprint to improve the world. It consists of 17 global goals and 169 targets:
End poverty and hunger / Promote health and well-being / Quality education / Gender equality / Secure clean water and clean energy /
Decent work / Sustainable industry / Reduce inequalities / Sustainable cities / Responsible consumption and production / Climate action / Marine ecosystem
preservation / Terrestrial ecosystem preservation / Institutions for peace and justice / Global partnerships.
SDG Health focuses on SDG 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all people to solve contagious disease issues based on target 3: End epidemics of contagious diseases.
SDG Health also aims to introduce solutions: to reduce global maternal mortality and deaths of newborns, to strengthen the prevention and treatment of substance abuse, to reduce deaths and injuries from traffic accidents, to ensure access to sexual and reproductive healthcare services, vaccines and medicines, and to reduce deaths from hazardous chemicals and pollution.
